GEORGE TOWN: A 53-year-old car driver died when a tree fell on his car along Jalan Perak here on Tuesday (April 27) morning.
Fire and Rescue Department personnel are currently at the scene to clear the road.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Soffian Santong confirmed the incident and said that the police received a distress call at 9.40am.
“Firefighters are still cutting the trees to clear the road,” he said.
